Everyone wants to go to New York City and with good reason; this is really a great city, one that everyone loves. There is something for everyone here, great unique shopping, art, museums, nature activities, concerts, and all kinds of shows and theaters.

If you every even travel close to New York City, you must make a stop over. Plan on spending a few days at least, this way you will get to know the city as it should be known.

Shopping in the Big Apple
The person that loves to shop will love this city. There are tons of unique products that cant really be found anywhere else in the nation. Bloomingdales and Macy´s are here but so are many other specialty and boutique shop. This truly is the one unique shopping area in the U.S. Make sure you visit the designer stores and visit Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Versace. If you are a real shopper you will soon find out that you could spend days shopping around.

Broadway-A Must See
Most visitors to New York know that they have to see at least one Broadway show. This is after all what New York City is known for. You will love the glamour of the New York Theater.

Something for Sports Fans
Love sports? You will find many events going on in New York all the time, but you might just want to enjoy the tennis matches at the US Opens. Tennis matches go on here in the months of August and September, and you will enjoy watching some of your favorite players hone their sport.

Not tennis season? Well, head over to Madison Square Garden and get tickets for a Rangers or Knicks game. You could also take in a show here. There are some astounding shows, concerts, and even circus performances that take place here.

If you love baseball then you must visit the Yankee Stadium. The old one, is unfortunately, being torn down, but the new one is right next to it. This stadium is located in the Bronx and home to one of the greatest teams to ever play baseball.

Family Activities
Families will love going to the museums and one you won’t want to miss is the American Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Arts. Plan on spending an entire day at each.
Time to eat? New York City has it all. There are many five star restaurants you can enjoy, but you’ll also find restaurants that represent New York’s great ethnic variety. You will find great Indian food, French, Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, and food of just about every ethnic variety.
